Border Crossings magazine and the Winnipeg Art Gallery held their inaugural MATTER Lecture on Thursday November 24, 2016. Commencing with a wonderful and thoughtful talk by distinguished American artist David Salle, the lecture was followed by a conversation with Robert Enright and the launch of David Salle’s new book, HOW TO SEE: Looking, Talking and Thinking About Art, now in its second printing by New York’s W.W.Norton.
The MATTER Lecture Series on contemporary art and ideas continues in April of 2017!
Thank you to the Winnipeg Foundation for their support of this series, to feature two speakers per year, and to our partner, the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
