Canadian Residency Program underway in Detroit
Canadian Residency is an artist-in-residence program based in the US that features four Canadian visual artists living and making artwork in Detroit’s Eastern Market.
This year’s artist list includes Jessica Korderas, Kelly Richardson, Suzy Lake and Shary Boyle.

Funded by the Knight Arts Challenge, the program has launched their kickstarter campaign for 2015 with a goal of $50,000 to host future residencies.
Canadian souvenirs of the project can also be had, including Suzy Lake’s postcard and Shary Boyle’s commemorative tile (in collaboration with Pewabic Pottery of Detroit).
