Submissions

Border Crossings prefers that submitted materials be preceded by specific query letters, outlining the proposed piece. 

Exhibition review proposals should include a small selection of images and any information about the exhibition or artist(s) that may be helpful to our Editor.

Short fiction and poetry submissions are also accepted.

Our best guidelines are the magazines - for style, format, length and editorial range.  We have no deadlines for submissions, however keep in mind that we publish quarterly in February, May, August and November.

All submissions should be sent to the attention of our Editor, Meeka Walsh.  As we receive several submissions daily, we ask that material sent be kept to a minimum.  You will be contacted if your material is of interest to the magazine.
