Border Crossings at Foire Papier - Papier Art Fair 2014

Border Crossings’ editor Meeka Walsh and senior contributing editor Robert Enright are back after an exhilarating trip to AGAC’s Papier14 Art Fair which wrapped up this past weekend.

With good conversation, enchanting works on display and fresh galleries on the floor, we showcased some of our recent issues, including Issue 129, ‘Influence’, featuring Marcel Dzama’s gorgeous glossy on the front.

In addition to the running of our magazine table, Meeka also participated in a panel discussion, ‘Discover Artists Beyond Quebec’, with Bill Clarke (writer and collector, Toronto), Rhiannon Vogl (National Gallery of Canada), Ben Klein (writer, Montreal). Well attended and received.

It was great to connect with old friends and acquaintances and to glean some new subscribers from the hundreds of visitors. A successful visit topped off by a glass of wine provided from the organizers. Overall, a lovely experience and an art fair we will be sure to return to. See you next year in Montreal!

Coming up this fall is AGAC’s newest art fair, Feature.
